Richard Cunningham

Dr. Richard Cunningham is an Assistant Professor of Sixteenth- and
Seventeenth-Century English Literature at Acadia University, where he
is leading the development of the Humanities HyperMedia Centre @ Acadia
University. Before accepting his current position at Acadia he held a
SSHRC Post-doctoral Fellowship and an honourary Killam Post-doctoral
Fellowship at the University of Alberta.
In 2001 he was a
Scholar-in-Residence at the Dibner Library of the History of Science
and Technology in the Smithsonian Institution. He has published in
On-Stage Studies, Rhetoric and Philosophy, and has a chapter
forthcoming in a collection of essays on Renaissance Studies and New
Technologies from the U of Toronto Press. His book-length manuscript,
The Attraction of the Truth is currently under consideration with an
academic press.
